Clean and edge driveway.
Remove area of asphalt by garage to promote positive water drainage.
Remove broken areas and replace with full depth hot asphalt. Compact.
Level low areas with hot asphalt and compact.
Apply a primer binder to bond new asphalt with existing.
Machine lay 2.5 inches (2" compacted) of surface fine asphalt to driveway.
Compact with a vibratory roller.
Hand tamp edges on a 45-degree angle for a neat appearance.
Replacement of Existing Driveway
Dig out existing asphalt or concrete driveway.
Haul debris from site.
Grade and compact soil.
Machine lay 3 inches (2.5" compacted) of base asphalt to the area.
Compact.
Machine lay 2.5 inches (2" compacted) of surface fine asphalt to driveway.
Compact with a vibratory roller.
Hand tamp edges on a 45-degree angle for a neat appearance.
New Construction

Grade and compact soil.
Furnish and install CR6 compaction gravel, as needed.
Machine lay 3 inches (2.5" compacted) of base asphalt to the area.
Compact.
Machine lay 2.5 inches (2" compacted) of surface fine asphalt to driveway.
Compact with a vibratory roller.
Hand tamp edges on a 45-degree angle for a neat appearance.
New Areas
Dig out area to be paved.
Haul debris from site.
Grade and compact soil.
Furnish and install CR6 compaction gravel, as needed.
Apply a primer binder to vertical edge of existing driveway.
Machine lay 3 inches (2.5" compacted) of base asphalt to the new area.
Compact.
Machine lay 2.5 inches (2" compacted) of surface fine asphalt to driveway.
Compact with a vibratory roller.
Hand tamp edges on a 45-degree angle for a neat appearance.
